Strong Tajweed, clear recitation, and familiarity with teaching methods are expected. Ability to teach in English or Urdu/Hindi is preferred. Formal certifications from recognised institutes are a plus.
Requirements
Yes — we welcome both male and female tutors. Many students specifically request female tutors and we actively recruit qualified sisters.
Payments
Payments are processed monthly or bi-weekly depending on your onboarding agreement. Methods include bank transfer, UPI, or other locally supported options.
Typically tutors are paid per session but long-term or specialized arrangements may use an hourly payout. Exact terms are finalised during onboarding.
Scheduling
You set your available times in the tutor dashboard and students are matched accordingly. We support mornings, evenings, weekends, and timezone-aware scheduling.
If the student notifies in advance, you can reschedule. If they don't notify, platform policy determines whether the session counts; coordinators help mediate repeated cases.
Students
Assignment depends on your availability and subject expertise. New tutors typically start with a small number of students and expand based on performance and demand.
Yes — you can specify preferences for male/female students during onboarding and in your profile; we respect reasonable preferences while balancing student demand.
Training & Growth
Yes. We provide onboarding, teaching guidelines, and optional workshops (Tajweed pedagogy, online class techniques, student management).
High-performing tutors may become lead instructors, trainers, or curriculum contributors. We recognise and promote consistent excellence.
